Premier League Week 13 Fixtures: EPL TV Schedule, Live Stream and Picks

James DudkoNov 20, 2015

Raheem Sterling's first game against former club Liverpool highlights the 13th week of this Premier League season. Sterling and league leaders Manchester City will host Jurgen Klopp's changing Reds team.

A day later, Tottenham Hotspur will look to build on their excellent point at Arsenal in another London derby, this one at home to east-end club West Ham United. Slaven Bilic's Hammers have excelled away from home this season, so Spurs should be wary at White Hart Lane.

Here are the week's full fixtures, along with viewing and streaming information, as well as picks:

Tottenham Hotspur vs. West Ham United

It's been a terrific season for the Hammers on their travels. They've won at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. Even at home, West Ham claimed another high-profile victim when they beat struggling defending champions Chelsea.

But the Hammers aren't the only ones enjoying a strong run of form. Spurs are developing into an uncharacteristically tough nut to crack on Mauricio Pochettino's watch. The Argentine strategist has the north London side pressing with pace and power all over the pitch. It's in the engine room where Tottenham's strength lies.

Budding young gem Delle Alli is a tireless runner whose energy is complemented by skill and a scoring touch. His roving brief is being made possible by the physicality and defensive discipline offered by deep-lying partner, Eric Dier.

But the Hammers boast their own mix of silk and steel. Cheikhou Kouyate offers the latter quality, while experienced Mark Noble is a cultured passer whose quality often goes unnoticed.

Whoever wins the battle in the middle will have the best chance of snatching all three points. But with this much traffic in midfield, a scoring stalemate seems the most likely outcome at the Lane.

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Klopp's press-in-platoons, quick-breaking counter-attacks form the exact strategy that could catch City cold at the Etihad Stadium. But the question remains whether or not the Reds have enough firepower to make the most of their opportunities.

It's something clearly already weighing on the mind of Klopp. The German coach has even suggested he'll pull ultra-fragile striker Daniel Sturridge out of mothballs to trouble the City defence.

Prolific hitman Sturridge could return to haunt City.

Confirming the attacker's return to training, Klopp has indicated he may unleash Sturridge, even if he has to wait until the game's later stages, according to Sky Sports:

"

I don't know what I'll do. I have to think about it. His quality is outstanding - we don't need to talk about that - but everybody needs training and today was the third full exercise with the team after four, five weeks' break.

But as a striker sometimes five minutes are enough, so we have to see. I'll start thinking about this after the press conference.

"

Establishing a greater cutting edge up front is going to be vital to Klopp's bid to make Liverpool a legitimate title contender again. It will require keeping Sturridge fit, perhaps the very definition of mission impossible.

Even if Sturridge is fit, expect City to steadily overwhelm Klopp's men. The return of prolific talisman Sergio Aguero will help. He's back, but playmakers David Silva and Samir Nasri remain out, while captain Vincent Kompany and striker Wilfried Bony have joined them, per BBC Sport.

Spurs' bid for a top-four finish means building off great results like the point at Arsenal. Meanwhile, City's attempt to take the title off Chelsea demands winning tricky fixtures, including a visit from an improving Liverpool side.

Those competing in both races, particularly Arsenal and Manchester United, who face difficult away days of their own, will keep a keen eye on these results.
