Zlatan Ibrahimovic will feature at Euro 2016 after bagging a brace to seal Sweden's 2-2 result in Denmark on Tuesday, triumphing 4-3 on aggregate. Meanwhile, Ukraine drew 1-1 against 10-man Slovenia, enough to seal their 3-1 aggregate win and book their spot in the tournament finals.

Sweden travelled to Copenhagen on Tuesday with a 2-1 advantage from Saturday's first leg, but two goals from Ibrahimovic set manager Erik Hamren's men on course for a 4-3 aggregate win after Yussuf Poulsen and Jannik Vestergaard added late consolations.

Ukraine left it until late to switch on the fireworks in Maribor, where Andriy Yarmolenko had to wait until the 98th minute to equalise after Bostjan Cesar's early header gave Slovenia hope of progressing.

The two nations will join Hungary and the Republic of Ireland at next year's finals, completing the 24-team lineup in what will be the biggest European Championship to date.

Sky Sports News confirmed earlier this week that despite last week's attacks in Paris, Euro 2016 will be played in France, with the draw set to take place at 5 p.m. GMT/12 p.m. ET:

Despite Ibrahimovic's early strike, it was actually hosts Denmark who assumed the initiative at Parken Stadium and were looking the more likely to continue just as they ended in Solna over the weekend.

Kim Kallstrom was even forced to clear an early Danish effort off the line after just seven minutes in Copenhagen, with the Swedes coming within inches of seeing their aggregate lead decimated.

But big players tend to make their presence felt on the biggest stages, and Ibrahimovic proved how much Tuesday's vital opener meant to him after sweeping in a Kallstrom corner from just inside the opponents' area, per FourFourTwo's Charles Ducksbury:

At first glance, the score looked a fairly fortunate one, but replays showed how the Paris Saint-Germain talisman had to come out and meet the ball with his right before hooking inside Kasper Schmeichel's left post.

How Denmark manager Morten Olsen will have wished he had a talent like Ibrahimovic among his ranks. The hosts continued to impose themselves on Swedish half, dominating the shot count, per WhoScored.com, but failing to take the bulk of those chances:

Prior to Sweden's early strike a 1-0 victory would have done for Olsen's men, but having failed to score more than once in their five previous matches, that once again proved a step too far for a side failing to find their mark.

The nail in their coffin came in the form of Ibrahimovic's second, a 30-yard free-kick effort terrifically curled around the right hand of the wall into Schmeichel's top-right corner. Per Infostrada Sports, the goal sealed a little piece of history for the Sweden star:

Poulsen looped an 81st-minute header past Andreas Isaksson before left-back Vestergaard notched another headed goal to level, but it proved futile as Sweden did enough to advance to next year's showpiece.

Slovenia's meeting with Ukraine wasn't quite as climactic, coach Srecko Katanec's men leading for most of the night but failing to overturn the deficit that could have led them back to the Euros for the first time since 2000.

It wasn't meant to be, though, and despite captain Cesar scrapping home the opener after just 11 minutes in Maribor, Tuesday's hosts struggled to hold the same intensity over 90 minutes.

It wasn't long after Cesar headed in the only goal of the night that play was halted because of home fans throwing flares on the pitch, per When Sunday Comes:

Perhaps that disruption played a hand in derailing Slovenia's momentum, and although the home outfit claimed a majority of possession, the attacking momentum was evenly balanced throughout.

Until Ukraine had the away goal, there was always a chance for Katanec and his side, but coach Mykhaylo Fomenko's men were clearly not keen on the thought of letting another slip.

Slovenia right-back Miso Brecko was sent off late for an ugly challenge on Yevhen Konoplyanka, and at this point, Tuesday's hosts knew their chances of a Euro 2016 berth were as good as over.

Yarmolenko struck in the eighth minute of added time to put the finishing touches on the 3-1 aggregate defeat for good measure and in the process made Ukraine the last team to take their spot at Euro 2016.
