Daily Fantasy CFB Week 11: DraftKings Last-Minute Picks, Best Values
Daily college fantasy football owners need one thing when making lineups at the last minute: value.
Owners don't need to know about Trevone Boykin, Leonard Fournette and Corey Coleman. Those are the obvious building blocks, the foundations of a lineup everyone understands most times regardless of matchup.
When it comes to value, it's all about players who will triple their salary or more and provide a boost at a small ownership percentage, guys in great matchups or playing for starters or going on an offensive flurry in an attempt to catch up—the guys who boost owners past a large percentage of the field.

Below, let's take a stab at some of this week's candidates for such an honor and examine why.
Quarterback: Joe Hubener, Kansas State ($6,500)

Kansas State Wildcats quarterback Joe Hubener isn't a household name by any means.
He's not going to flirt with a 300-yard passing bonus on DraftKings, either, but what he will do is provide owners with triple value and then some as he beats defenses on the ground and through the air.
Last week it looked borderline silly to trot out Hubener against then-No. 6 Baylor, but surprise—he pounded the rock 29 times in an effort to control the clock and Kansas State went down in just 31-24 fashion.
In the process, Hubener amassed 38.34 points for owners. It's going to be a similar approach for Hubener and the Wildcats this weekend as they look to control a contest against the pass-happy Texas Tech, which Las Vegas has at an over/under of 72. Get him in those lineups.
Running Back: Josh Adams, Notre Dame ($5,900)

Notre Dame will destroy Wake Forest this weekend.
It's just the way it goes in a dog-eat-dog world, as Las Vegas puts the over/under at 52, with the Fighting Irish favored by 27.
There's still value for owners in need.
Consider backup running back Josh Adams, who posted 25.2 points last week in relief of injured starter C. J. Prosise. The starter may return this weekend, but coach Brian Kelly has made it clear the backup will play a bigger role moving forward, according to Pete Sampson of Scout.com:
It's a ringing endorsement, and honestly, the Fighting Irish aren't going to trot out a starter who suffered a potential concussion one weekend ago in a game that is supposed to be this lopsided.
They will let a freshman run wild, though. And Adams will do that.
Running Back: Jovon Robinson, Auburn ($4,700)

Say hello to the lead back for the Auburn Tigers.
Jovon Robinson is finally healthy and led the team in carries in each of the past two games, making for a rather interesting price here considering last time out he posted 24.9 points.
Opportunities equal production at running back, as most know, so a game Las Vegas has at a spread of just two points means Robinson will once again see a full workload and do quite well given where his salary sits.
It was just a few weeks ago that the Florida Gators bullied the Georgia Bulldogs on the ground to the tune of 48 rushes for 258 yards and two scores on a 5.4 per-carry average.
Robinson has shown the ability to do similar feats, so expect a big day.
Wide Receiver: KaVontae Turpin, TCU ($5,000)

Remember the line about Prosise and how teams favored in a big way won't play stars often?
Such is the case with TCU wideout Josh Doctson, who continues to deal with an injury, although the team says he will play this weekend, according to Chuck Carlton of the Dallas Morning News.
But why would he play much? TCU gets Kansas, a game with a total of 71.5 and favored by 45 points.
Somebody has to score those points, and more than a handful figure to go to the criminally underrated KaVontae Turpin, who averages better than 14 points per game as is and posted 22.9 last week.
Turpin is in for a major day, especially with Doctson hobbled.
Wide Receiver: Macgarrett Kings Jr., Michigan State ($3,900)

It's always good to load up on receivers who play with a quarterback as talented as Connor Cook.
Such is the case with Michigan State wideout Macgarrett Kings Jr. this weekend. He's already averaging triple value at 11.6 points per game, and he's the owner of 13.9 points or more in each of his last four outings.
On a team favored by more than 14 points this weekend against an iffy Maryland pass defense, Kings figures to put on another show. He's scored at least one touchdown in three of his last four games, so another trip to paydirt as the Spartans pull away looks likely.
At this price, an attractive floor-ceiling combination looks impossible to ignore.
