Chelsea, West Ham Fined After Admitting to Misconduct Charge
Chelsea and West Ham United have both received fines after admitting to a Football Association misconduct charge for their failure to make sure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during their Premier League meeting on October 24.
The Blues have been fined £50,000 for their behaviour in the 2-1 loss against the Hammers, who will be forced to pay £40,000, per the FA's official website. The FA also confirmed both clubs have been warned “to their future conduct.”

The incident that led to the charges occurred just before half-time of the cross-town rivalry, when Chelsea player Nemanja Matic was sent off for a second bookable offence. In the skirmish that followed, multiple players were booked, and Blues manager Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands during half-time.
The majority of the yellow cards during the incident went to Chelsea players, which could explain why the harsher penalty went to the Blues. Mourinho has already been fined before this season and was given a stadium ban, per the Guardian's Dominic Fifield, which also may have played a role.
With both teams accepting the charge, this should be the last we hear about the incident in question.
