Neymar Slams Referee Clos Gomez After Barcelona Beat Villarreal 3-0 in La Liga
Neymar has criticised the referee from Barcelona's Sunday 3-0 victory over Villarreal in which the Brazilian was booked for protesting.
Striker Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta were also given yellow cards for talking back to referee Clos Gomez during the Camp Nou clash.
Neymar bagged an impressive double—his goals coming either side of Suarez's penalty—against the Yellow Submarine, but he voiced his dissatisfaction with Gomez after the game, per Spanish outlet AS (via Goal's Stefan Coerts).

"I think the referee lost control of the game a little. We can't talk to him or reply to him. They immediately pull out a yellow card when you say something to them. But we give our answer with what we do on the pitch."

Gomez issued eight yellow cards during the clash, with Barca defenders Gerard Pique and Jeremy Mathieu also going into the book. However, it did little to take away from the Blaugrana's performance, as they went three points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga with an emphatic victory.
It is not the first time this season that Gomez has been questioned. The official was heavily criticised after he took charge of Real's 3-1 victory over Celta Vigo last month, during which he sent off Gustavo Cabral, per Sport.
Neymar and Suarez were excellent once again on Sunday as they continued their remarkable form, which has seen Barca barely struggle in the absence of the injured Lionel Messi, per Squawka:
Neymar's second goal—Barca's third—was an exhibition of great technique and stunning skill, the 23-year-old flicking the ball over a defender's head before pirouetting and firing a finish into the back of the net.
Luis Enrique's men face a huge test in their next La Liga game against Real, which follows the international break.
Another fine performance from Neymar should give them a decent chance of victory at the Bernabeu, a result that would see them move six points clear of Los Blancos in the league table.
