EPL Table: 2015 Week 12 Top Scorers After Sunday's Premier League Scores
Harry Kane continued his excellent run of form for Tottenham Hotspur with a goal in the north London derby, but a second-half equaliser from Kieran Gibbs ensured the two teams shared a point at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Crystal Palace inflicted the first defeat of Jurgen Klopp's reign as Liverpool manager when they triumphed 2-1 at Anfield, while Aston Villa were supremely fortunate to escape with a draw against Manchester City in Remi Garde's first game as Villa boss.
Here are the results from Week 12's Premier League action, the top scorers' chart and the updated league table:

Harry Kane, 6 Goals
The striker got off to a slow start to the season, but after netting his sixth Premier League goal of the season—and sixth in his last four matches in all competitions—Kane is now firmly on a roll.

He showed his trademark composure to take the lead against Arsenal after Danny Rose played a lovely ball forward; the Englishman was free to slot past Petr Cech after Laurent Koscielny had played him onside.
Squawka Football highlight his incredible year:
Football writer Andrew Gaffney wryly noted that Kane is continuing to deliver into the current campaign:
The 22-year-old's development since the beginning of last season has been remarkable. With his form now looking as potent as it was for large parts of the previous term, he could well start to reel in Jamie Vardy in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot, if the Leicester City man ever slows down, that is.
Olivier Giroud, 6 Goals
The Frenchman has bagged eight goals in all competitions this season—six in the Premier League—but despite several chances was unable to add to his tally on Sunday.

Giroud frequently found space in Spurs' penalty area either due to slack defending or his own clever movement. Match of the Day host Gary Lineker commented on the striker's freedom:
However, the forward had several chances to score with his head and either missed the target, hit the woodwork or directed his effort too close to Hugo Lloris.
Football365's Daniel Storey was particularly critical of Giroud:
Nevertheless, the underrated striker has been fairly prolific this season, and as the above tweet from Squawka Football reveals, just three players have outscored him in the league in 2015.
What he lacks in pace he makes up for with aerial prowess (usually), and his physicality gives Arsenal a different dimension to their other attackers.
As Sunday demonstrated, the 29-year-old can still add a clinical touch to his game. Although the Gunners could benefit from signing another forward to ease their reliance on him, he still has an important role to play in their title challenge.
