La Liga Fixtures 2015: Schedule, Live Stream and Week 4 Predictions

Rory MarsdenSep 17, 2015

The 2015-16 La Liga season is only three weeks old but already the top of the league table has taken on a very familiar feel.

Barcelona head Real Madrid in the top two spots following the Blaugrana's defeat of Atletico Madrid last time out and Los Blancos' thrashing of Espanyol.

Week 4 sees Barca host Levante and Granada travel to the Bernabeu, while Diego Simeone's side will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season away at Eibar.

Real Madrid vs. Granada

Granada must be quaking in their boots. The last time they visited the Bernabeu back in April they lost 9-1, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring five goals.

The Portuguese superstar comes into Los Blancos' home clash with Granada on Saturday in scintillating form, having netted a hat-trick in the Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night following his five goals away at Espanyol last weekend.

If Rafael Benitez's side started the season in somewhat underwhelming fashion with a 0-0 draw to Sporting Gijon, their subsequent three matches have been nothing if not convincing, per ESPN Stats and Info:

Not only is Ronaldo is in immense form, but Karim Benzema looks bright having scored in his last three matches, and his link-up play with the former Manchester United man against Shakhtar was impressive.

Equally, Gareth Bale scored a brilliant double in Real's last home match, a 5-0 drubbing of Real Betis.

Granada have had a mixed start to the season, picking up a decent away win at Getafe in Matchday 2, but they have lost 3-1 in both of their home games so far.

Their chances of picking up anything in Madrid on Saturday are next to nothing, and realistically it will simply be a case of damage limitation against a rampant Madrid.

Prediction: 5-0

Barcelona vs. Levante

Levante picked up a decent draw with Sevilla last time out in the league, but it has not been the best of starts for Les Granotes this season as they have yet to claim a win.

Hardly a good time, then, to be heading to the Camp Nou to face a Barcelona side with a perfect record.

Luis Enrique's side have yet to find their best form—they have been relatively quiet in front of goal, scoring four goals in their opening three matches.

However, they are two points clear at the top of the league already, and claimed a vital away win against Atleti last time out in their best performance of the season so far, per Bleacher Report's Graham Ruthven:

The goalscorers against Simeone's side were a familiar duo as Lionel Messi and Neymar both found the back of the net.

The same pair netted six times against Levante last season in two 5-0 wins in the league. With Barca on an upward curve and Levante looking vulnerable, a similarly convincing victory for the Catalans seems likely on Sunday.

Levante host Eibar next in the league, a far more realistic target for their first victory of the season than the weekend's trip to the Camp Nou.

Prediction: 3-0
