EPL Table: 2015 Premier League Standings After Sunday's Week 3 Matches
Manchester City's bid to reclaim the Premier League crown was boosted on Sunday thanks to a 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park, while Chelsea got their first win of the campaign at West Bromwich Albion.
Goals from Aleksandar Kolarov and Samir Nasri ensured Manuel Pellegrini's side took their third win from as many outings, putting them two points clear at the summit of the English top flight.
Chelsea's first victory of the 2015-16 campaign came after beating West Brom 3-2 at the Hawthorns despite John Terry's sending-off, with £19 million signing Pedro opening the scoring for his new club.

Manchester City Ascending
If it wasn't already clear to supporters, Manchester City laid down a marker as likely Premier League title contenders with a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Second-half strikes from Kolarov and Nasri gave Pellegrini's men all three points from their trip to the west Midlands, and Squawka attested to this being a record ninth consecutive Premier League win for the club:
The victory didn't come without City welcoming pressure upon themselves at times, and England goalkeeper Joe Hart was made to work in order to preserve his team's points haul.
The Daily Mail's Adam Crafton teases the possibility of City getting even better from this point with new transfers arriving, and a 2-0 win away at Everton is by no means a small achievement:
Pellegrini can look upon a third win from three as evidence to believe his side can muster a strong title threat, while City are also just one of three Premier League teams yet to concede a goal this season.
With Chelsea yet to reach the heights of last season and the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool showing weaknesses, the question has to be posed as to whether anyone can stop City's stampede.
Pedro Hits Premier League Ground Running
Just three days after officially completing a £19 million move to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona, Pedro made a fine impression on his new followers by opening the scoring in Chelsea's 3-2 win at West Brom.
It was another Catalan recruit who delighted Blues fans with his arrival at the club last summer, and Cesc Fabregas was full of praise following his reunion with Pedro after Sunday's result, per the Mirror's Joe Mewis:
"[He was] Fantastic. I knew straight away he would make an impact in this team because basically it was something that we didn’t have in this team. It’s basically a player that goes behind defenders, that can dribble, goes one against one. He goes behind defenders and stretches teams.
On the side we have Diego and Remy that do that but on the wings with Eden and Willian, they like the ball more at their feet. I knew straight away the mentality of this guy is fantastic and I’m very happy for him.
"
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will hope this is but the first of many highlights to come from Pedro's Premier League tenure, with Diego Costa and Cesar Azpilicueta also scoring to push past a James Morrison double.
There was cause for concern, though, as captain Terry saw red for pulling back Baggies striker Salomon Rondon, although former Premier League players Phil Neville and Joey Barton were divided on the decision:
Following upsets against Swansea City and Manchester City, Chelsea finally have their first win of the campaign and can look to build on this foundation after making a woeful start to their title defence.
Prior to Pedro's west London arrival, the notion was that Chelsea's summer window had been moving too slowly, but the Spaniard's acquisition is already spurring Mourinho's men into brighter form.
