Despite an opening-drive fumble that set up a Georgia field goal, Alabama rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to take a 14-10 lead into halftime, scoring two late touchdowns to seize momentum.

Russell connected with tight end Marshall Pritchett for a 22-yard touchdown before the Crimson Tide capped a quick 1:42 drive with an EJ Crowell rushing score.

Georgia found the endzone in the second quarter on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Stockton to London Humphreys. On the following possession, Stockton threw just his second interception of the season, but Alabama failed to turn the takeaway into points.

Georgia struck coming out of halftime, with Stockton capping a 75-yard drive with a 14-yard rushing touchdown to give the Bulldogs a 17-14 lead.

Alabama tied the game with a field goal in the third quarter, while its defense came close to forcing multiple turnovers in the second half. Georgia continued to dodge trouble, escaping several close calls to maintain its lead.

Georgia's Peyton Woodring missed a field goal from 39-yards out, but nailed one from 23-yards to give the Bull Dogs a 20-17 lead with 5:25 remaining.

A costly personal foul by Alabama proved decisive, allowing Georgia to run out the clock and seal the victory.

Alabama will travel to Tennessee to face the No. 15 Volunteers next Saturday, while Georgia hosts the Auburn Tigers. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
