Make it three losses in a row for Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes.

Texas Tech went into Boulder and walked away with a 29-7 win, completely shutting down the Buffs' offense after allowing a touchdown on the game's opening drive.

It was a rough starting debut for Isaac Wilson, who took over at quarterback this week after Julian Lewis struggled. Colorado put a heavy workload on him, as he rushed the ball 17 times and threw it 44 times, though his three interceptions (and one pick-six) didn't make the strongest case for keeping the starting gig going forward.

Colorado finished with four turnovers overall and missed two field goals. It was, in a word, brutal.

On the other side of the ball, Texas Tech didn't exactly impress either, finishing with less overall yards than the Buffs (375-315) while finishing just 3-of-12 on third down. But Texas Tech was able to control the game on the ground (181 rushing yards), didn't turn the ball over once and actually converted their field-goal attempts.

Sometimes games are won and sometimes they are lost. Texas Tech did what was needed to win this one, but Colorado did more than enough to lose several times over.

The Red Raiders (5-0) now get a bye week before hosting Arizona State on Oct. 17. Colorado (2-3) will try to end their losing streak in two weeks when they host No. 13 Utah.
