LSU Trolls Marcel Reed, Texas A&M with Celebration Video After Lane Kiffin, Tigers' Blowout Win

To the victors go the spoils, which means LSU got to do some trolling of Texas A&M and quarterback Marcel Reed after Saturday's 35-6 blowout win.

LSU posted a highlight montage of its defenders making plays against Reed with the caption, "Death Valley wasn't so underwhelming this time around."

It was a reference to a comment Reed made during an appearance on The Triple Option podcast (h/t Braden Ramsey of Saturday Down South) ahead of the 2025 matchup between the two teams in which he referenced a 2023 game that had a noon ET kickoff.

"[That] wasn't a night game… so [it was] a little underwhelming," he said at the time. "I'm just really excited to see what the atmosphere is like. You know, I've heard a lot of things. I've heard the fans are crazy. They do all types of stuff."

It was a raucous environment Saturday night, as Lane Kiffin's team bounced back from a loss to Ole Miss in dramatic fashion. The defense held Reed to 10-of-26 passing for 106 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception.
