Kiffin, LSU Beat TAMU After Ole Miss Loss, Box Score, Top Player Stats, Highlights & SEC Standings

Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers bounced back in resounding fashion from their first loss of the season.

LSU took down the Texas A&M Aggies, 35-6, in a battle of Top 25 SEC teams.

The win moved the Tigers to 3-1 and got them back on a roll after the road loss to Kiffin's former program, the Ole Miss Rebels, in Week 3.

LSU methodically pulled away from Texas A&M as the game went on.

The Tigers took a 14-3 advantage into halftime thanks to a rushing touchdown from Dilin Jones and a touchdown catch from Jackson Harris.

Harris was one of two LSU wide receivers to eclipse the 100-yard mark on Saturday. He went for 163 yards and two scores on six catches, while Winston Watkins Jr. had five catches for 107 yards.

The Tigers broke the contest open at the start of the second half with a 57-yard touchdown connection between Harris and Sam Leavitt.

Leavitt suffered a leg injury later in the third quarter, which allowed Landen Clark to step in and take more snaps.

Clark ran in a four-yard touchdown to effectively finish off the victory in the middle of the third quarter.

Clark went on to score one more rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Leavitt's injury will come into focus more once the severity of it is revealed.

LSU can play without Leavitt next week at home against the McNeese Cowboys. The Tigers re-enter SEC play on October 10 versus the Kentucky Wildcats.
