Colorado couldn't get much going on offense in the first half.

Northwestern produced a trio of scoring drives in the opening two quarters, two of which ended in touchdown runs by quarterback Aidan Chiles.

Chiles finished the contest with three touchdown passes and a pair of touchdown runs.

Chiles significantly outplayed Colorado quarterback Julian Lewis, who had a pair of interceptions and a single touchdown pass.

Lewis' sole touchdown pass occurred in the third quarter, but that was all the Buffaloes could muster on offense.

Saturday's game went in the complete opposite direction as the Buffaloes' first road game, which was a 14-13 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Sanders understandably received a ton of criticism for how his team performed in Evanston.

Colorado will try to bounce back in Week 4 in its third road game of September, a Big 12 clash with the Baylor Bears.
