Sayin, Jeremiah Smith Impress, Final Box Score Stats, Highlights, Draft Stock from Ohio State's Win

Julian Sayin, Jeremiah Smith and the Ohio State Buckeyes had no problem putting up points in their 59-3 win over the Kent State Golden Flashes.

Sayin threw for a pair of touchdowns, while Smith averaged 17 yards per catch in a contest that was finished by halftime.

The Buckeyes did whatever they wanted in the first half on offense. One of the results of that was Smith breaking the Buckeyes' all-time receiving yards record.

Smith caught five passes for 85 yards, but he did not find the end zone, like he did in the first two weeks of the regular season. He's up to 400 receiving yards on the season through three games.

Sayin spread the ball around to seven different receivers during his time on the field. He was taken out of the game in the third quarter with the Buckeyes up by 42.

Sayin produced a pair of touchdown passes to Brandon Inniss and Nate Roberts.

The touchdown pass to Inniss came on the final play of the first half.

Ohio State's other four touchdowns with Sayin on the field came through the rushing attack. Bo Jackson, Ja'Kobi Jackson and Isaiah West combined for the four rushing scores.

The competitiveness will ramp up next week for the Buckeyes, as they begin Big Ten play against Illinois.
