Kevin Durant Makes Cameo in Drake's 'FOMO' Short Film, Wears OVO Chain in Photo

During a recent livestream showcasing some of his unreleased music, Drake called in Kevin Durant for a cameo appearance.

The Houston Rockets superstar dropped in to show off an OVO chain as part of Drake's FOMO short film project.

Per Michael Saponara of Billboard.com, Drake debuted nine unreleased tracks on the stream that featured cameos from several people, including his mother and Durant.

Durant and Drake have a longstanding friendship dating back to at least 2012 when the NBA legend shouted out the rap star for his support during the All-Star Game in which he was named MVP after scoring 36 points.

Drake has even shouted out Durant in some of his lyrics, notably on his song "Weston Road Flows" from his 2016 album Views with the line: "Shout out to KD, we relate, we get the same attention/It's rainin' money, Oklahoma City Thunder."

Basketball has sometimes gotten in the way of their friendship. Durant and Drake exchanged words after Game 2 of the 2019 NBA Finals when Durant was playing for the Golden State Warriors against Champagne Papi's beloved Toronto Raptors.

That feud didn't last long with Durant appearing in Drake's music video for "Laugh Now Cry Later" that was released in August 2020.
