LeBron James Brings Back Taco Tuesday in Trending Video Ahead of NBA Season with 76ers

LeBron James brought back an old tradition as he prepares for his first season as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.

James posted a video celebrating "Taco Tuesday" as part of a new partnership with Mike's Red Tacos on Instagram.

"Man, it feels good to say IT'S TACOOOOOO TUESSDAAAAAAYYYYY," James wrote in the caption of the post.

The NBA's all-time leading scorer previously posted a series of social media videos highlighting his family taco nights on Tuesdays during the 2019 offseason.

Now, James is gearing up for his 76ers debut after signing a two-year contract worth $8 million with Philadelphia on July 24.

Before then, the 41-year-old is starting a new partnership based on his affinity for tacos.

"I love tacos, and I especially love how they bring people together to create traditions and share great moments around the table with family and friends," James said in a statement released Tuesday, via Rhea Caoile of Fox 5 San Diego (h/t Yahoo Sports). "In addition to having an incredible taco, Mike's Red Tacos brings those same values to life in a fresh, new way for consumers."

James joined the 76ers following his eight-year tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers.

During his final season in Los Angeles, he averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists, 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51.5 percent from the field and 31.7 percent from three-point territory.

Expectations are high for Philadelphia during its upcoming 2026-27 campaign after adding James and Jaylen Brown to a starting lineup that already features Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
