College coaches and executives polled by The Athletic's Bruce Feldman are expecting big things from Oregon quarterback Dante Moore this season.

Out of 18 coaches and front office members surveyed by Feldman, six named Oregon the title favorite and nine predicted Moore will win the Heisman Trophy.

"I'm really curious to see if Dante Moore gets better... I'll say Moore because he's gonna have a lot of marquee games," a Big 12 general manager told Feldman as to his guess about who will win the Heisman.

Moore is heading into his second season as the Ducks' starter having completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,565 yards with 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as Oregon made it to the semifinal of the College Football Playoff.

He and the Ducks are scheduled for four upcoming matchups against preseason AP Top 25 teams with road games at USC and Ohio State and home games against Michigan and Washington.

Feldman reported the only other programs to receive multiple votes as title favorites were Notre Dame (three votes), Ohio State (three votes) and Texas (two votes).

Georgia, Miami and defending national champion Indiana received one vote each from coaches and executives predicting them as champions, per Feldman.

Among Heisman Trophy favorites, Feldman reported other recipients of multiple votes were Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (four votes) and Notre Dame quarterback C.J. Carr (two votes).

Texas' Arch Manning, Indiana's Josh Hoover and LSU's Sam Leavitt received one vote each as Heisman favorites, per Feldman. Feldman also noted seven out of 18 coaches predicted LSU as "the biggest fraud" in college football.
