Heisman Candidate LaNorris Sellers Interning at Local Driving Range During Fall Semester
When he's not on a football field this fall, you might find South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers on the range.
According to Hale McGranahan of Gamecock247, Sellers is interning The Par Tee Golf Center in West Columbia, South Carolina. It's the only college coursework he has to worry about for the time being as he has no classes on his academic schedule.
Sellers is majoring in sport and entertainment management, and he's on his way toward graduating in December.

A previous internship took him to Contract Construction, the South Carolina-based company that's working on the renovations to Williams-Brice Stadium.
"I sat in with a lot of those meetings at the stadium, the group out of Oklahoma that they gave the job to build the stadium, do the design and all that, I met with them," Sellers said of his time there. "I pretty much knew what was going on over there before a lot of people did."
His tasks at Par Tee are far more menial. He told McGrahanan he mostly performs "facility management," such as mowing the grass and picking up golf balls.
While he's out on the range, Sellers presumably takes the chance to mentally go over the Gamecocks' offensive scheme or think about areas of his own game to improve.
South Carolina didn't make the Associated Press Top 25 poll, but challenging for the College Football Playoff isn't out of the question.
A lot will hinge on the performance of Sellers, who threw for 2,437 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2025.
His individual tools are off the charts. If he puts together a big year, he could enter the Heisman Trophy conversation and perhaps climb into the first round on 2027 NFL draft boards.
