LeBron Posts Kevin Hart's 'Shut the F--k Up' Video amid Pat Beverley's Viral Rumor on NBA Decision

After former NBA star Patrick Beverley predicted that star forward LeBron James would make his free agency decision on Monday, the 41-year-old appeared to have a not-so-subtle response.

James took to his Instagram story to repost a video from his friend and comedian Kevin Hart telling the viewer, "I don't know who needs to hear this... shut the f--k up!" James added a caption saying, "BINGO!! STFU!"

James' post came after Beverley tweeted that he could be announcing his next team on Monday:

While Beverley has joined the media as a podcaster, he's not known to report news, so it's hard to say where he's getting his information from. James appears to have made it clear that he needs to check his sources.

Despite the basketball world waiting for his decision, James made it clear that he's in no rush to reveal his plans. While speaking at Fanatics Fest this past weekend, he declared early that an announcement wasn't coming.

Still, as he enters his 24th season in the NBA, it's no secret that James is nearing the end of his legendary career. However, he didn't commit to the 2026-27 season being his final year.

"In sports, there's always conversations, like, 'When is he going to retire? He needs to retire. He's this age. He's that age,'" James said during a live episode of The Shop. "But, why? Why? Why are we trying to force people that are still doing what they do at a high level, why are we trying to force a narrative of it's time to retire? ... If we still are dedicating ourselves to the craft, if we are still giving to the sport, if we're not disrespecting the game and we're giving everything that we have to the sport and we're still driving revenue as well, why not? Why can't I still play it if I still love it? So, I'm just trying to squeeze as much of the juice out of it as possible."
