LeBron James Reacts to Bronny Being His Former Teammate After Lakers Exit Amid NBA FA Rumors
Free agent LeBron James has parted ways with the Los Angeles Lakers, which means that his eldest son, Lakers guard Bronny James, is now a former teammate.
The fact wasn't lost on LeBron, who noted how "hilarious" it was while speaking at the CNBC and Boardroom's Game Plan Summit at Fanatics Fest on Thursday to Boardroom co-founder Rich Kleiman (h/t ESPN's Dave McMenamin).

James is still pondering his next team in free agency.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday that four teams—the Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat—are believed to lead the way.
Charania also said James "is getting closer and closer to making a decision." James himself seemed to confirm as much as the summit, per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
James just played his last eight years with the Lakers. Bronny James joined him for the last two after L.A. selected the former USC Trojan guard with the 55th overall pick in the NBA draft. They are the first father-son duo to play in the NBA at the same time and on the same team as well.
However, James remains a Laker, as he's under contract for one more year. L.A. also has a team option for the 2027-28 season. In theory, James could be traded to his father's next team, though.
Front Office Sports' Alex Schiffer reported Tuesday that "multiple front office sources from teams in the mix for James said they have discussed acquiring Bronny should his father pick their team."
In addition, an NBA executive told Schiffer: "We wouldn't be doing our jobs if we didn't discuss it."
At the moment, though, James and his son are ex-teammates as LeBron figures out his next move.
