Heat's Bam Adebayo Won't Be Punished by NBA for Tyler Herro Altercation in Las Vegas
The NBA will not punish Miami Heat star center Bam Adebayo for a reported altercation with former teammate Tyler Herro of the Milwaukee Bucks, a league spokesperson told The Athletic's Joe Vardon.
"After discussing with the players involved and the NBPA, everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league," the spokesperson said.

Per Vardon, the Bucks, the Heat and the NBPA declined to comment further on the matter.
Adebayo and Herro played together in Miami for seven seasons before the shooting guard was sent to Milwaukee as part of the blockbuster trade for star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Herro, who is a Milwaukee native, recently told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne that he's looking to put the situation behind him and start the next chapter of his career with the Bucks.
"Honestly, I'm just trying to move past all of it," Herro said. "I'm focused on Milwaukee and building something special. They obviously just traded the greatest player in their history, so we want to come in and help continue what they've been doing."
