Erling Haaland finally accepted actor Tom Holland's dinner invitation on social media after Norway's 2026 FIFA World Cup run came to an end.
"Dinner invitation accepted @tomholland2013," Haaland wrote in an Instagram comment on Wednesday (h/t TMZ Sports). "A little late. Just name the place!"
Holland previously explained that he invited Haaland to dinner in a direct message after seeing him at Formula One's Monaco Grand Prix, but didn't receive a response.

"That is exactly the type of humbling experience that is important for actors," Holland said during a Monday appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "You're like, 'I'll text him, I'll take him to dinner.' Not even a response. Not an excuse. Not 'I'm busy tonight, I'm playing football.'"
Haaland also revealed that he didn't know who Holland was when he received the invitation, as he doesn't watch many movies.
The 25-year-old is coming off an impressive performance at the 2026 World Cup, finishing with seven goals in five matches while helping Norway reach the quarterfinals.
