Germany's round-of-32 clash with Paraguay at the 2026 FIFA World Cup looks easy on paper.
But the Monday clash at Gillette Stadium might be difficult because of Paraguay's defensive structure.
The South American side hasn't conceded since Matchday 1 of the group stage against the United States.

90-Minute Money Line: Germany (-300); Paraguay (+650); Draw (+400)
Germany will be the popular pick to win by multiple goals because it found the back of the net on 10 occasions in the group stage.
Kai Havertz, Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane form one of the most dangerous attacking foursomes left in the tournament.
Germany can also turn to Deniz Undav, who had three group-stage goals, either from the start or off the bench.
The assumption by many is that Germany beats Paraguay either 2-0 or 3-0 and rests up for a likely round-of-16 battle with France.
That could happen, but don't count out Paraguay immediately. At least consider the defensive prowess of the South American side.
Paraguay produced consecutive clean sheets in Group D against Turkiye and Australia and it tied for the second-best defensive record in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying.
Paraguay's four-goal concession to the United States on Matchday 1 was more of an outlier than anything for the nation's defensive form.
Like a handful of round of 32 underdogs, Paraguay is going to have to do a lot of defending.
It's going to come down to how Paraguay keeps its structure and how it deals with the connections between the lines that the Germany attack possesses.
The front four will create a good amount of chances, but also keep an eye on Felix Nmecha.
Nmecha plays in a deeper midfield role, but his passing between the lines could be vital to setting up chances for Havertz, Wirtz and Co.
Germany has the edge in talent, but it doesn't have the experience at this stage of the World Cup on its side, which is rare for a German side.
The majority of the German stars have not played in a World Cup knockout-round game since Germany was eliminated in the group stage in 2018 and 2022.
There are plenty of factors that could go against Germany, but on sheer talent alone, it can win the contest running away.
