Arch Manning, Dante Moore and Top 10 QB Player Ratings for EA's CFB 27 Video Game

Two weeks away from the release of College Football 27, EA Sports has unveiled the rankings for the top 10 quarterbacks in the game.

Topping the list is Oregon star Dante Moore at 95 overall, followed by Ohio State's Julian Sayin (94) and Mississippi's Trinidad Chambliss (93).

Despite being a preseason favorite for the Heisman Trophy, Texas' Arch Manning is just outside the top five in a tie for sixth with Miami's Darian Mensah at 91 overall.

Moore took the top spot after throwing for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns and completing 71.8 percent of his attempts last season. He led the Ducks to a 13-2 record and a trip to the College Football Playoff semifinals before losing to eventual champion Indiana.

It was a bit of a surprise when Moore decided to remain in college for the 2026 season. He was regarded as a top-10 prospect and the only significant challenger to Fernando Mendoza as the No. 1 quarterback in the class.

Instead, Moore will attempt to finish the job by securing Oregon a national title in his second year as the starter.

Sayin is the highest-ranked returning player from the 2025 Heisman voting. The Ohio State star finished fourth, behind Mendoza, Diego Pavia and Jeremiyah Love.

It was the best Heisman finish for a Buckeyes quarterback since C.J. Stroud was third in 2022. Sayin led the nation with a 77.0 completion percentage, while throwing for 3,610 yards and 32 touchdowns.

Manning has arguably the highest ceiling of any college quarterback going into 2026. His first season as Texas' starter showed plenty of promise with 3,163 passing yards and 399 rushing yards. He accounted for 36 touchdowns in 13 games.

Despite being the betting favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2027 NFL draft, a poll of NFL scouts conducted in the spring has Manning behind Moore as the best quarterback prospect.

Manning can shift the narrative if he shows more consistency this season now that he has a full year as a starter under his belt. He will also be going head-to-head with any of the quarterbacks on EA's list.

Texas has games against Ohio State, Oklahoma, Mississippi and LSU in the regular season.

EA Sports College Football 27 drops on July 9 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Gamers who pre-order the deluxe edition or MVP bundle that comes with Madden NFL 27 will have early access on July 6.
