Milan Momcilovic Picks Between Kentucky, Arizona, SJU in CBB Transfer Portal, Reportedly Gets $6M
Power forward Milan Momcilovic, the top remaining player on the transfer portal and No. 2 option overall, is reportedly heading to Kentucky, according to Matt Norlander of CBS Sports.
Norlander previously reported that Momcilovic was "expected to make north of $5 million" with his next team after bypassing the 2026 NBA draft and was considering Arizona, Louisville and St. John's alongside Kentucky. Ultimately the latter won out.

That may have come down to money, at least in part, with Norlander reporting that Momcilovic's NIL deal was "expected to be in the neighborhood of $6 million."
Momcilovic spent his first three seasons in college basketball at Iowa State, averaging an impressive 16.9 points and 3.1 rebounds last season while shooting 48.7 percent from three. He'll instantly add floor spacing and shot-making to Kentucky.
And he could make Kentucky a legitimate contender next season.
The Wildcats did not bring in a strong recruiting class in 2026, only landing 4-star point guard Mason Williams and overseas prospect Ousmane N'Diaye. But Mark Pope has been active in the transfer portal, with Momcilovic joining Franck Kepnang, Jerone Morton, Justin McBride, Alex Wilkins and Zoom Diallo.
Kentucky routinely won the recruiting cycle in the days of John Calipari, but success in the modern era is also contingent on building out a talented, veteran roster through the portal. Pope seemingly has done just that this spring.
