New NBA Free-Throw Rule Explained
San Antonio Spurs v Minnesota TImberwolves - Game Six

Dylan Harper, De'Aaron Fox Injury Statuses Revealed for Spurs' G4 vs. Thunder by HC Mitch Johnson

Adam WellsMay 23, 2026

After De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper made it through Game 3 without any apparent issues to the injuries they were dealing with going into the night, both players are expected to be available for the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson told reporters on Saturday that Fox and Harper are expected to play on Sunday night.

Fox missed the first two games of the Western Conference Finals due to what wasย revealedย to be a high ankle sprain. The injury occurred in Game 4 of the previous round against the Minnesota Timberwolves when Ayo Dosunmu landed on his leg while diving for a loose ball.

Harper left Game 2 against the Thunder in the third quarter with what initially appeared to be a hamstring injury. An MRIย revealedย the injury was to his adductor muscle.

Both players were listed as game-time decisions on Friday. They were given the go-ahead by the Spurs training staff after going through warm-ups.

Fox took his usual spot in the starting lineup, while Harper came off the bench after starting the first two games. Fox looked good coming off the injury. He finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and was a team-high plus-nine in 31 minutes.

Harper, on the other hand, played arguably his worst game of the postseason. He finished with six points on 2-of-7 shooting, three rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes.

Having Fox back to add more length to Johnson's rotation is a huge boost for the Spurs. They need to figure out ways to combat Oklahoma City's bench, which accounted for 76 of the team's 123 points on Friday and has a 183-64 scoring advantage over the Spurs reserves through three games.

The Thunder and Spurs will play Game 4 at Frost Bank Center on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Oklahoma City is looking to take a 3-1 series lead before the series shifts back to Paycom Center for Game 5.
