Pope Leo XIV Receives Autographed Paul Konerko White Sox Jersey in New Photo

Pope Leo XIV finally received an autographed jersey from Chicago White Sox legend Paul Konerko on Wednesday.

Konerko initially autographed the jersey in July 2025 after he was gifted his own signed jersey by Pope Leo XIV in honor of Chicago's 2005 World Series victory celebration.

Robert Francis Prevost took the name Leo XIV when he became the first American Pope, as he was elected in May 2025.

The Chicago native is a noted White Sox fan, attending Game 1 of their matchup with the Houston Astros in the 2005 Fall Classic.
