New NBA Mock Draft 2026 Released by ESPN's Jeremy Woo, What's Changed Since Combine?
In the wake of the NBA scouting combine last week, ESPN's Jeremy Woo has dropped a new 2026 mock draft that doesn't feature many changes at the top.
Nine of the top 10 picks for Woo remain the same as from his post-lottery mock on May 10, including AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer going one, two and three.
Here's the full top 10 in Woo's new projection:

Even though Dybantsa has consistently been in the No. 1 spot, Woo wrote it remains uncertain if the Wizards will go with him on draft night. Peterson, Boozer and Caleb Wilson were all cited as receiving consideration by Washington.
If the Wizards end up going in a different direction, that could be a win-win for Dybantsa and the Utah Jazz. Dybantsa, who played his final high school season at Utah Prep and spent one year at BYU, reportedly preferred to stay close to home with the Jazz even though he also wants to go No. 1.
The lone change in the top 10 from Woo compared to last week is Aday Mara sneaking in with the Atlanta Hawks at No. 8. His previous mock had Mikel Brown Jr. going in that spot, while Mara landed with the Charlotte Hornets at 14.
B/R's Jonathan Wasserman included Mara in his list of combine winners, praising the Michigan center for his "cartoonish measurements" at 7'3" with a 9'9" standing reach:
"Aside from offering incredible tools in rim protection, which he used to register a 12.0 block percentage, Mara possesses unusual passing and post skill for a player of his abnormal size. He looks like one of the draft's most unique weapons that few NBA teams can evenly match."
In explaining the change, Woo noted the Hawks "will look" at the available guards as they seek a replacement for Trae Young after trading him to the Washington Wizards.
However, one thing that stood out with Atlanta's roster in its first-round playoff series loss to the New York Knicks was a lack of size. Onyeka Okongwu was the only member of the starting five taller than 6'8".
Wasserman also projected Mara to the Hawks in his updated mock released on Tuesday.
The 2026 draft will take place from June 23-24 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
