- Height without shoes: 6' 4.5"

Peterson is projected to go to the Utah Jazz with the No. 2 pick of the 2026 draft by Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman, Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor and ESPN's Jeremy Woo.
All three of those mocks projected the Washington Wizards selecting BYU's AJ Dybantsa with the No. 1 pick before the Memphis Grizzlies take Duke's Cameron Boozer at No. 3.
Peterson also recorded an unofficial max vertical leap of 37.5 inches. Dybantsa led the leaderboard with a 42-inch leap.
Peterson averaged 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals through 24 games of a freshman season at Kansas during which he was regularly limited by cramping issues.
He told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne last week that doctors had told him his cramping issues resulted from high doses from creatine, and that he had not experienced the issues since he stopped taking the supplement.
Wasserman reported in his latest mock that Peterson, for whom he named the Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards as a pro comparison, was still seem by some scouts as "a No. 1 overall talent."
"If he drops to No. 2, 3 or even 4, one reason will be because of his mere 2.2 assists per 40 minutes, a number that paints an archetypeโperimeter-scoring, non-playmaking guardโthat's seemingly lost value in recent years," Wasserman wrote.
"However, there's plenty of evidence of front offices factoring in context with freshmen and putting stock into high school tape, which shows Peterson thriving as a primary ball-handler, creating rim pressure and shots for teammates."
After Peterson's recent health news, his numbers at the combine could help cement his spot as a top-two pick heading into the 2026 draft starting June 23 in Brooklyn.
