Cameron Boozer Says 'I'm Definitely the Guy' Who Can Help Teams Win NBA Titles, Hang Banners
Duke forward Cameron Boozer is confident that he can help an NBA team win a championship ahead of the 2026 draft.
"Whether I go 1, 2 or 3 or whatever the case may be, I think winning and what I bring to the team, my resume, it shows for itself," Boozer told Andscape's Marc J. Spears. "If a team wants to hang a banner in the rafters, I'm definitely the guy."
The 18-year-old declared for the draft on April 24.

Boozer is coming off an impressive freshman season with the Blue Devils, living up to expectations after he was listed as the No. 3 player in the country as part of the 2025 recruiting class (via 247Sports' composite rankings).
He helped Duke reach the Elite Eight of the 2026 NCAA tournament before suffering a narrow 73-72 loss to UConn.
Boozer averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three-point territory during his 2025-26 campaign.
He was projected to be off the board with the No. 3 overall pick in the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman.
The first round of the 2026 NBA draft will begin on June 23.
