Bogdan Bogdanovic, Rockets Reportedly Agree to Contract in Free Agency After Clippers Stint
Bogdan Bogdanović is on the move after a season and a half with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Per ESPN's Shams Charania, Bogdanović is signing one-year deal with the Houston Rockets after his contract option was declined by the Clippers.
Bogdanović was traded to the Clippers from the Atlanta Hawks during the 2024-25 campaign in return for a handful of picks plus Terance Mann and Bones Hyland.
Unfortunately for Bogdanović, the 2025-26 campaign was one to forget. He missed some time with various lower-body injuries and never really found a permanent spot in the rotation.
He finished the season playing just 23 games and putting up 7.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. That's far from the typical production of Bogdanović, who has put up double figures every year of his career so far.
With Bogdanović not playing a significant role for the Clippers, there was some speculation that Los Angeles would try to move him at the deadline, but he ultimately stuck around for the remainder of the year.
Considering he wasn't in the rotation much during the 2025-26 season, it wasn't much of a surprise to see the Clippers decline Bogdanović's option, but he'll look to make more of an impact with the Rockets.
