Victor Wembanyama Makes History with Blocks as Spurs React to Spurs Star in Playoff Game vs. Wolves

Victor Wembanyama continues to reach new levels early in his NBA career.

The San Antonio Spurs star set an NBA playoff record with 11 blocks against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. He finished with 12 blocks as the Spurs dropped Game 1 of the series.

It came after he matched the record in the third, setting a franchise record in the process:

The young star had an incredible start with eight first-half blocks in Game 1 of the second-round series.

Wembanyama became the NBA's first unanimous Defensive Player of the Year this season, and he reminded fans why he holds that title.
