Sunday Highlights

Pistons 116, Magic 94

The Pistons scored 40 second-quarter points en route to a 22-point win on Sunday.

Cade Cunningham (32 points, 12 assists) and Tobias Harris (30 points, nine rebounds, three steals) led Detroit, which outscored Orlando 63-42 over the second and third quarters. Cunningham and Harris combined to shoot 9-of-13 from three-point range.

Daniss Jenkins added 16 points off the bench and made 4-of-5 three-pointers, and Jalen Duren posted a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double.

Magic forward Paolo Banchero led all scorers with 38 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. Desmond Bane added 16 points, and Wendell Carter Jr. posted 13 points. Anthony Black had 11 points and five steals.

Orlando forward Franz Wagner, who posted 20.6 PPG and 5.2 RPG during an injury-shortened regular season, remained out with a right calf strain suffered in Game 4.

The Pistons have now advanced to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2008, which capped a string of six straight postseasons that featured the team making the Eastern Conference Finals at minimum.

Cavaliers 114, Raptors 102

The Cleveland Cavaliers outscored the Toronto Raptors 38-19 in the third quarter en route to a 114-102 home win.

Cavs center Jarrett Allen posted 22 points, 19 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Donovan Mitchell also added 22 points, and James Harden scored 18.

Cleveland out-rebounded Toronto 60-33. The Cavs also grabbed 20 offensive rebounds to the Raptors' seven.

The Cavs trailed 47-38 in the second half but rallied to tie the game at 49 at halftime. Cleveland then dominated the third quarter to take an 87-68 edge going into the fourth quarter.

The Cavs held off the Raptors in the fourth. Toronto cut the lead to as low as 11 points on two occasions late in the quarter, but the Cavs responded each time with a bucket to keep the Raptors at arm's length.

Raptors forward Scottie Barnes' 24 points led all scorers, and forward RJ Barrett added 23 for Toronto.
