AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer, Full List of Early 2026 NBA Draft Declarations Announced
This year's NBA draft class figures to be a loaded one, and the full list of early draft declarations was announced Monday.
The lengthy list of players is highlighted by BYU's AJ Dybantsa, Duke's Cameron Boozer and Kansas' Darryn Peterson.
Dybantsa, a consensus first-team All-American in his sole season with BYU, lived up to the hype after coming to the college ranks as the No. 1 player in the class of 2025. He led the nation in scoring with 25.5 points per game, adding 6.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest.
Dybantsa is widely projected to go first overall, including by Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman.
Arguably the only player who rivaled Dybantsa as the best player in college basketball was Boozer, who won the Naismith College Player of the Year. Boozer, the son of NBA icon Carlos Boozer, posted 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this year.
Wasserman projects Boozer to go third overall to the Brooklyn Nets in his latest mock draft.
Peterson, unfortunately, had much of his season derailed by injuries, but he looked like one of the best players in the nation when he was healthy, averaging 20.2 points per game for the Jayhawks. Peterson is projected to be the second player off the board by Wasserman.
While Dybantsa, Boozer and Peterson are the big three of this year's draft class, North Carolina's Caleb Wilson, Arkansas' Darius Acuff Jr. and others aren't too far behind them.
This year's draft class is heavy with college players, but there are sure to be international prospects, such as Karim Lopez from Mexico, who make their names known in the NBA.
