Everything Wemby Said About Injury Return After Spurs' Win Over Blazers in NBA Playoffs Game 4
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama returned to action on Sunday after missing Game 3 of the team's first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers with a concussion.
Wembanyama led the Spurs to a 114-93 win in his return, saying after that he was getting out "lots of emotions" on the court.
"I had lots of emotions in me before the game, obviously excitement. Frustration," Wembanyama said. "I let it all out tonight."

Castle, Harper Lead Spurs to Win Without Wemby

Dame Could Return for Playoffs
Wembanyama missed most of Game 2 after suffering the concussion, and the Trail Blazers managed to steal a win on the road with the Defensive Player of the Year absent.
Despite being without their star in Game 3, San Antonio managed to take care of business, thanks in large part to 33 points from Stephon Castle and 27 points from Dylan Harper.
In order to return to action, Wembanyama had to complete the steps mandated by the league's concussion protocol, which includes meeting benchmarks that are "compared to baseline neurological evaluations players take at the start of the season," ESPN's Shams Charania reported.
According to Charania, Wembanyama was cleared by both the Spurs and the NBA on Sunday, giving San Antonio a massive boost ahead of a pivotal matchup.
Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs in his return on Sunday, posting 27 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocks and four steals in his first-ever road playoff game. His co-star De'Aaron Fox added 28 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the win.
After taking a 3-1 lead, the Spurs are now just one win away from their first series win since 2017. If they advance, they'll get a second-round matchup against either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Denver Nuggets.
