Where LeBron James Ranks All-Time for Top NBA Stats After Breaking Robert Parish's Record

Scott PolacekMar 22, 2026

The King added another record to his resume Saturday.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James passed Robert Parish for the NBA's all-time lead in games played with Saturday's contest against the Orlando Magic. James has now played in 1,612 games over the course of his illustrious career.

And that mark is just one of his records, as he is also the NBA's all-time leader in points, field goals made, seasons and minutes, among a number of other impressive ranks:

James surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most points in NBA history during the 2022-23 campaign was the most celebrated of those individual statistical ranks, but it is a testament to his versatility that he is also fourth in assists and sixth in steals.

He was never just a pure scorer and has impacted the game in a number of ways throughout his 23 seasons.

The future Hall of Famer continues to do so even this season at 41 years old. James is averaging 21.1 points, 6.8 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from deep.

He is no longer as effective as he was at his peak, but he is still a game-changing player who can take over for extended stretches.

Los Angeles has won nine in a row with James, Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves leading the way and is up to third in the Western Conference standings, which means the legend will have another opportunity to challenge for a championship.

Retirement will remain a topic of discussion and speculation until James confirms when he is walking away from the game he has dominated for so long, but he will continue adding to his records and challenging others in the meantime.
