LSU's Lane Kiffin Trolls Carson Beck With Caption on Photo of Haley, Hanna Cavinder

LSU head football coach Lane Kiffin took a jab at former Georgia and Miami quarterback Carson Beck in a social media post alongside the Cavinder Twins on Friday.

Along with a photo of himself on a basketball court with college basketball stars Hanna and Haley Cavinder, Kiffin wrote, "Beat them like we did Beck in 24," on X:

Beck and Hanna Cavinder dated from 2024 into 2025, but they both confirmed their breakup last year.

After beginning his college career by playing four seasons at Georgia, Beck transferred to Miami for the 2025 season, which is where Hanna and Haley played their college basketball.

In the post, Kiffin mentioned beating Beck in 2024, which referenced Ole Miss' 28-10 win over Georgia during the 2024 season. Kiffin was the Rebels' head coach at the time before recently taking the LSU coaching job.

Because he decided to go to LSU, Kiffin was not able to coach Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff this past season. Instead, Kiffin had to watch as Beck and the Hurricanes beat the Rebels in the CFP semifinals.

Beck nearly led Miami to its first national title since 2001, but the Canes fell 27-21 to Indiana in a tightly contested National Championship Game.

Now, Beck is preparing for the 2026 NFL draft, and he has a chance to be the third quarterback taken behind Indiana's Fernando Mendoza and Alabama's Ty Simpson.

As for Kiffin, he is preparing for his first season as the head coach at LSU, and he will look to help the Tigers improve on the 7-6 mark they posted last season.
