Arkansas Reveals Uniform Sponsor Patch for 2026 CFB Season in Video, Proceeds Will Go to NIL

Tyson Foods is set to be a major part of Arkansas sports in the coming years.

On Wednesday, Arkansas announced it partnered with the company and will feature Tyson Foods logo patches on all 19 of its men's and women's varsity teams. The proceeds from the multi-year agreement will help fund the Razorbacks' name, image and likeness efforts.

In addition to the logo patches on uniforms, there will be Tyson Foods logos on fields and courts, as well as in the media backdrops for press conferences.

"This historic sponsorship is transformative for Razorback Athletics," athletic director Hunter Yurachek said. "For decades, Tyson Foods has been more than a corporate partner—they are an integral part of the Arkansas story. Having Tyson Foods incorporated across our varsity teams and venues sends a powerful message about the caliber of our programs and the type of talent we can bring to the University."

Brandon Marcello of CBS Sports reported that approximately 90 percent of the money from the partnership will go directly to athletes through NIL.

The NCAA approved jersey patches in January, and this comes after LSU announced an all-sport partnership with Woodside Energy that will feature patches on its jerseys.

Marcello noted that Learfield CEO Cole Gahagan previously estimated that such deals could range from $500,000 to more than $12 million per year depending on the size of the program and overall market.

Tyson Foods' headquarters is located in the state of Arkansas, which made this a natural partnership for the Razorbacks.

In the modern day landscape of college sports, things such as NIL and the transfer portal figure to continue costing schools and programs more money every year. While some may have issues with the corporate sponsorship being visible on jerseys, it also gives these programs an opportunity to generate additional revenue as they look to remain competitive.

Arkansas is 21-8 this season in men's basketball and is looking to build on last year's Sweet 16 appearance under head coach John Calipari. Its women's basketball team has not been as successful of late and is just 12-19 this season following a 10-22 effort in 2024-25.

Yet the SEC is best known for its football.

Ideally for the Razorbacks, they can use some of the money generated from this partnership and improve their efforts on the gridiron. They were an ugly 2-10 last season and haven't won double-digit games since the 2011 campaign.
