Latest Ravens Rumors on Kliff Kingsbury, OC Candidates for Lamar Jackson on Jesse Minter's Staff

The Baltimore Ravens have their next head coach in Jesse Minter, and now they have to find a new offensive coordinator.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Ravens have requested to interview Denver Broncos passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Davis Webb for their vacant OC job.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo also reported Sunday (Brady has since been hired as the Bills head coach):

"A couple of candidates there are guys who interviewed for the head-coaching job as well. We're talking about Joe Brady, currently the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills, and Kliff Kingsbury, formerly the offensive coordinator of the Washington Commanders. Those are two names to keep in mind."

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero also reported Monday that the Ravens will interview Detroit Lions assistant head coach/wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery for the OC job.

The offensive coordinator position will be a critical one for Baltimore considering Minter has a defensive background and will surely be leaning heavily on the new hire when it comes to that side of the ball.

Minter was the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers the past two seasons and was also a defensive assistant in Baltimore from 2017 through 2020 for John Harbaugh's staff.

Kingsbury is best known from his time as a head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2019 through 2022 when he worked with Kyler Murray. But he also worked with Jayden Daniels as the OC in Washington the past two seasons.

The Commanders reached the NFC Championship Game during Kingsbury's first year as OC but struggled this season as they dealt with injuries to Daniels and more.

Washington finished fifth in scoring and seventh in yards in 2024 despite Daniels just being a rookie, which surely stands out to the Ravens and other teams looking for new coaching staffs as they evaluate Kingsbury this offseason.
