Deion Sanders Says Colorado's 'Recruiting Our Butts Off' on Video Amid CFB's Transfer Portal Window

The Colorado Buffaloes were 3-9 in 2025 and are now just 16-21 in Deion Sanders' three years as head coach.

But on Sunday, Sanders suggested that he and the coaching staff are working hard on the recruiting trail this offseason as they look to improve that mark.

"We're recruiting," he said on a Well Off Media video (9:20 mark). "We're recruiting, recruiting, recruiting our butts off. We ain't playing. We ain't sleeping right now until we get them all. We don't have many more to go, but we're gonna get them."

Colorado currently ranks 62nd in 247Sports' Composite Rankings for the Class of 2026 and 21st in its rankings of the transfer portal, with 15 incoming prospects and 29 incoming transfers.
