KC Concepcion Declares for 2026 NFL Draft, What Are Texas A&M WR's Top Landing Spots?

Andrew PetersDec 22, 2025

One of the SEC's top wide receivers is officially heading to the NFL draft.

Per ESPN's Jordan Reid, Texas A&M junior KC Concepcion announced Monday that he plans to forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the draft.

Concepcion, a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, began his career at NC State but transferred to Texas A&M ahead of the 2025 season. In his sole season with the Aggies, he finished with the fourth-most receiving yards (919) in the SEC and was tied for the most touchdowns (9) in the conference.

Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department considers Concepcion to be the No. 17 overall player and the No. 3 wide receiver in this year's draft class. It's safe to assume Concepcion will be one of the first wide receivers to be picked up in this year's draft class, but what team will take him is the question.

The Buffalo Bills, who will likely draft in the late first round, could be the right fit for Concepcion. The Bills used an early second-round pick on Keon Coleman in 2024, but he hasn't done much yet, picking up just 911 yards so far in his career.

Buffalo is still lacking a true No. 1 option at wide receiver, and Concepcion could eventually fill that role.

The Atlanta Falcons have a strong first option at receiver with Drake London, but they could benefit from a second option alongside him. Of course, the Falcons have more areas they need to address than a team like the Bills, so they might not be willing to use a valuable first-round pick on a receiver.

The Miami Dolphins are seemingly heading towards a transition period, and part of the transition could be Tyreek Hill's exit. The Dolphins very well could be in need of a receiver this offseason, and Concepcion wouldn't be a bad choice.
