MLB Trade Deadline 2015: Date, End Time, Hottest Rumors, Predictions and More
Already, we've seen three big names and addresses change in Major League Baseball. Could there be more players on the move before the non-waiver trade deadline at 4 p.m. ET Friday?
The Colorado Rockies sent Troy Tulowitzki and LaTroy Hawkins to the Toronto Blue Jays for Jose Reyes and minor leaguers Jeff Hoffman, Miguel Castro and Jesus Tinoco, per Patrick Saunders and Nick Groke of the Denver Post. And according to Barry Svrluga of the Washington Post, the Philadelphia Phillies dealt Jonathan Papelbon to the Washington Nationals for cash and Nick Pivetta.
Both of those deals came after the Cincinnati Reds traded Johnny Cueto to the Kansas City Royals for Brandon Finnegan, John Lamb and Cody Reed. Those deals could help shift the balance of power in the American and National Leagues, but there are other key players available to discuss.

Cole Hamels

According to Jayson Stark of ESPN.com, the Philadelphia Phillies have told teams that are interested in acquiring Hamels before the deadline to submit their best offers by Wednesday. The Phillies apparently want to have close to two days to ponder which offer is best.
Per Stark, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are all interested in trading for Hamels.
Prediction
While many—including Stark—believe the Dodgers will land Hamels, ultimately, I'm going to go with the Cubs as the team to swoop in and offer up the prospects to rescue the ace from Philly.
The Cubs will not want to mortgage a hefty piece of their future for a temporary star, but Hamels is no short-term fix, as he's under contract until 2020. Even if the Cubs are not quite ready to contend this season, he can be a part of the 2016 team that figures to be a major favorite to go to the postseason.
Also, Hamels just tossed a no-hitter against the Cubs in his last start to let the North Siders know just what they would be getting.
Aroldis Chapman

The Cincinnati Reds have already dealt Cueto, but according to Steve Gilbert of MLB.com, the team could be ready to trade away the other attractive arm on the pitching staff.
Aside from the San Diego Padres with Craig Kimbrel or the St. Louis Cardinals with Trevor Rosenthal, there's no bullpen in the majors that Chapman could not anchor.
The Arizona Diamondbacks would be acquiring a guy who completely solidifies their bullpen for the remainder of the season and into next season, when he's eligible for arbitration.
Prediction
The Reds would likely need to be floored with an offer, and the Diamondbacks will not be willing to give up the farm for Chapman. He'll stay put in Cincinnati.
Carlos Gonzalez

Are the Rockies through dealing? Maybe not, but ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick believes right fielder Carlos Gonzalez is more likely to be moved after the season as opposed to being dealt at the deadline.
As we know, things can quickly change if the Rockies are wowed by a team's offer. Gonzalez still has two more years and $37 million left on his contract after this season.
He's bounced back from an injury-filled 2014 season with 20 home runs. There should definitely be a market for the 29-year-old slugger.
Prediction
The Rockies are going to go full out and move CarGo as well. Oftentimes a team will leak reports indicating reluctance to deal a player with the intention to drive up the asking price for him. Once the team dealt Tulo, there was no turning back. Gonzalez will be traded by Friday.
Contract information per Spotrac.com.
