Daily Fantasy Baseball 2015: Top DraftKings Bargains, Strategy for July 28
Every MLB team will take the field on Tuesday night, giving DraftKings daily fantasy players an enormous variety of options to choose from.
Once you've added a few big names to your lineup, it can be difficult to complete a roster under the $50,000 budget. Finding low-cost options who can produce is often the difference between winning some cash and finishing empty-handed.
Here are five of the best bargains available for July 28.

Ranking Every Team's Farm System 📊
Hisashi Iwakuma, P, Seattle Mariners ($8,300)
For his major league career, Hisashi Iwakuma is 40-21 with a 3.18 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. After spending most of 2015 on the disabled list with a strained lat, Iwakuma struggled in his return on July 6, surrendering five earned runs in five innings.
But in his three starts since then, the Seattle Mariners righty has looked more like his old self. In that time, Iwakuma has gone 2-0 with 18 strikeouts and only four runs allowed in 20.2 innings. He's also totaled 19 or more fantasy points on each occasion, averaging 23.9 per game.
Iwakuma is a great value at $8,300, and his price will likely rise to around $10,000 once he strings together a few more quality outings.
Wade Miley, P, Boston Red Sox ($6,400)

Despite the 4.33 ERA and 1.37 WHIP, Wade Miley is on a nice run at the moment. In his last two starts combined, Miley gave up just one run in 13 innings and struck out 10.
The lefty has had issues with walks this year, allowing 44 of them in 114.1 innings. However, Miley is displaying much better control at Fenway Park, where he's yielded only 10 walks in eight starts. His WHIP on the road is 1.54, but at home, it's a respectable 1.16.
Miley faces a Chicago White Sox team with just 219 walks on the season, the second fewest of any team in baseball. In addition, Chicago's 346 runs scored and .298 on-base percentage are each last in the American League.
Eric Hosmer, 1B, Kansas City Royals ($4,100)

The Kansas City Royals first baseman is in the midst of a torrid hot streak at the plate. On July 8, Hosmer was batting .280—Tuesday he'll take the field hitting .308.
Not counting Sunday's contest, in which he entered for defensive purposes and did not receive an at-bat, Hosmer has a hit in nine straight games, reaching base multiple times in eight of them.
| AB | H | R | HR | RBI | AVG | OBP | SLG |
| 36 | 18 | 7 | 2 | 8 | .500 | .550 | .806 |
Hosmer has scored eight or more fantasy points in seven of the Royals' past 10 games, including over 20 on three occasions.
Xander Bogaerts, 3B/SS, Boston Red Sox ($3,800)

Xander Bogaerts is quietly becoming one of the best offensive shortstops in the majors. The 22-year-old's 113 hits are tied with Mike Trout for fourth in the American League, while his .312 batting average ranks seventh.
Bogaerts is hitting .366 over the last 30 days, and his 37 hits in that time lead the majors. For the season, he's batting .390 with runners in scoring position, which is No. 1 in the AL among players with at least 55 at-bats in that situation.
The Boston Globe's Pete Abraham noted another of Bogaerts' impressive accomplishments:
After posting a .274 average through April and May, Bogaerts hit .312 in June and is currently batting .382 in July. There are several shortstops with higher salaries than his, but for the last two months, Bogaerts has been as good as any of them.
Angel Pagan, OF, San Francisco Giants ($3,100)

As far as head-to-head matchups go, Angel Pagan is an excellent choice on Tuesday at an affordable cost. In his career, Pagan is hitting .600 against Milwaukee Brewers starter Wily Peralta.
| AB | R | H | RBI | AVG | SLG |
| 10 | 3 | 6 | 2 | .600 | .700 |
Pagan's season stats aren't very impressive, but they are improving of late. Since July 10, Pagan has 17 hits and 10 runs scored in 13 games.
He's not going to put up huge numbers, but if Pagan can get another hit or two off Peralta, he'll be well worth the price to finish out your lineup.
