Lane Kiffin Reacts to 2026 LSU-Ole Miss CFB Matchup In IG Photo After Tigers Contract

All eyes will be on one college football matchup next season.

Lane Kiffin, who announced Sunday that he's leaving Ole Miss to take over as the head coach of LSU, will return to Oxford in 2026 for a matchup against his former team.

Kiffin reacted to that future matchup on Instagram on Monday.

Kiffin knows all too well how intense things can get for an SEC head coach returning to their former school.

In 2021, Kiffin returned to Tennessee, where he coached just one season in 2009 before darting for USC. Kiffin did not receive a warm welcome back to Knoxville and even had a golf ball thrown towards him late in the game as his team beat the Vols.

On his way out of Oxford on Sunday, he was booed by fans at the airport. When he returns next fall, it's fair to assume there will be plenty of that and more from the fans at Vaught Hemingway Stadium.
