Arch Manning Says Texas 'Can Beat Anyone' in CFB Playoff After Win vs. Texas A&M
Arch Manning made his case for the College Football Playoff selection committee to seed Texas after Saturday night's 27-17 upset of Texas A&M.
Texas was ranked No. 16 before beating the No. 3 Aggies, who were undefeated heading into the rivalry matchup.
"I feel like we've come a long way," Manning said Saturday night, per Yahoo Sports' Dan Wolken. "We've played a lot of good teams. I hope this thing works out because we're trending in the right direction.

"We're a good team. We're only getting better. And if you let us in, we can beat anyone."
Manning went 14-for-29 with 179 passing yards and two total touchdowns in the win, which the Longhorns clinched with a fourth-quarter interception on Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian cited both the Texas A&M upset and the difficulty of the SEC schedule when speaking to reporters after the win.
"That team's undefeated. No. 3 in the country. A lot of the pundits out there think they're the No. 1 team in the country. We just beat them by ten," Sarkisian said about the Aggies.
Sarkisian continued, "We've got a really good football team, and it would be a disservice to our sport if this team's not a playoff team."
The next CFP rankings are set to be released next Tuesday, Dec. 2. The bracket will be finalized on Decision Day the following Sunday.
