Angel Reese Says She's 'Manifesting' WNBA Finals Run Amid Aces' Title Win

The 2025 WNBA season is barely over after the Las Vegas Aces completed a sweep of the Phoenix Mercury on Friday night, but Angel Reese is already thinking about the possibility of playing for a championship.

As Game 4 of the WNBA Finals was going on, Reese sent out a post on X saying she is "manifesting the Finals."

When you consider all that Reese has already accomplished on and off the court, including being named the first athlete to walk in the Victoria's Secret Show and her acting debut in the Netflix film A House of Dynamite, betting against her would be a mistake.

Of course, one of the big questions is will Reese be manifesting a Finals appearance as a member of the Chicago Sky. She called out the front office late in the regular season, saying "she's not settling for the same s--t we did this year" and added they "have to get good players."

That set off a firestorm of controversy, including reportedly upsetting some of her Sky teammates to the point of potentially doing irreparable damage. The team suspended her for the first half of a Sept. 7 game against the Aces for "detrimental" conduct.

The Sky's 10 wins this season were their fewest since their inaugural year in 2006 (5-29). They have missed the playoffs in each of the past two years and haven't had a winning record since 2022.
