Angel Reese to Make History as 1st Athlete to Walk in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese announced Thursday she'll be walking the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The second-year forward is the first pro athlete to earn the distinction.

"I literally could not stop smiling!" she told People's Catherine Santino and Hedy Phillips. "It's such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I'll forever be grateful for."

Reese has some experience in these situations. Players around the WNBA have turned the pregame tunnel walk into their own fashion shows, and fans eagerly compare their outfits.

Not surprisingly, Reese is widely considered one of the more fashion-forward stars.

For the two-time All-Star, working with Victoria's Secret is another sign of how large her off-court profile has become. Early into her WNBA career, she already has countless endorsements, a signature shoe with Reebok, and had a cameo in Netflix's A House of Dynamite.

Reese's fortunes on the court, however, have been a little more mixed.

The 6'3" forward continued to be productive in 2025, averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds, but the Sky won three fewer games compared to 2024. A candid interview she granted the Chicago Tribune's Julia Poe also resulted in a minor suspension and raised questions about her future in the Windy City.

Wherever she's playing in 2026, Reese is bound to remain one of the WNBA's most bankable names.
