Angel Reese Talks Cameo in 'A House of Dynamite' Movie, Hopes to Grow Acting Career

WNBA star Angel Reese has a cameo in the political thriller "A House of Dynamite," which features Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson. On Thursday, she spoke about that experience and her hopes to continue acting in the future.

"That was really fun," she said on her Unapologetically Angel show (17:15 mark). "My little acting part in there was cool and I do really want to get into acting. During my [basketball] career and also after my career. That experience was really fun. Those days are long. Like even for my little acting part, the little part I did do, was a long, long, long time. So it took a lot to do that."

Reese added that she's previously done some music videos and other cameos and is excited to get into her "acting bag" in the future.

The 23-year-old appeared in 30 games for the Chicago Sky this season, averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from three. Her future with Chicago is certainly in question, however, after she said publicly that the organization needs to acquire more talent in the offseason. The Sky suspended her for one half of a game following those remarks, referring to them as "statements detrimental to the team."
