Florida Unveils Custom Jordan Brand Cleats in Photos Ahead of 2025 CFB Season
The Florida Gators showed off their new footwear prior to kicking off the 2025 college football season.
The orange and blue Jordan Brand colorways are bound to be a hit with fans:
Florida first signed with Jordan Brand in 2017. The deal covers the football team along with men's and women's basketball.
For the most part, the Gators have maintained their historic look under the Jordan umbrella. The biggest change was the all-black uniform they debuted in a 2023 game against Arkansas.
As sharp as those Jordan cleats look, fans ultimately don't care about design choices; they want results on the field.
An 8-5 finish in 2024 was Florida's best record under head coach Billy Napier, but winning eight games is a far cry from the success the program enjoyed under Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer and even Dan Mullen for a little bit.
At the very least, Napier's seat is pretty warm, and a slow start will ramp up the pressure even further.
Florida opens with Long Island University on Saturday and then plays South Florida before embarking on a stretch that will reveal how good this team truly is. The Gators take on LSU, Miami, Texas and Texas A&M in succession, which will either prove their a College Football Playoff contender or serve as a serious reality check.
