Florida Unveils Throwback Uniforms, Helmet for Mississippi State Game in Video

The Florida Gators football team unveiled a new take on throwback uniforms and helmets that it will be rocking against Mississippi State on Oct. 18.

Florida will enter the 2025 season ranked No. 15 in the nation behind quarterback DJ Lagway. The team will open its regular season against Long Island University on Saturday, Aug. 30, but the SEC schedule will heat up not longer after, with a contest against No. 9 LSU on Sept. 13.

The kicks off a brutal stretch for the Gators that includes matchups against No. 10 Miami, No. 1 Texas, No. 19 Texas A&M, Mississippi State and No. 5 Georgia.

If the Gators are going to reach the College Football Playoff this season, they will go straight through a lion's den to get there.
